The greatest news was expedited to us this Sunday and that was Kobe's announcement of his retirement. There was a time when I wanted to get behind this team and I am a huge D'Angelo fan but I refused to support them because of one player. But this is all in the past and irrelevant, just like Kobe's career will be after this season. There are nothing but good things for this franchise in the coming years. I look forward to discussing with fellow die-hard Lakers fans our path back to glory.

He hasn't done anything of value in the NBA and hasn't looked impressive to me at all.

Now granted, he is a 19 year old rookie so I'm not bashing him. I'm questioning what have we seen from him to warrant being "huge fans" of his?
