One of the most talented big men I've seen play. Career derailed by injuries but averaged nearly 20 ppg 10 rpg and 2 blk. Made the All-NBA team 5 times in his career (3 more than Alonzo Mourning). Even though he didn't fill up the stat board on defensive Dikembe or Mourning his defense was under appreciated.

Dwight was a game-changing defensive player....and athletic enough on the offensive end to be trouble for the opposing team. Yao is the better all-around offensive talent...but he's not in the same class of athlete as Dwight.

I think people seriously underestimate/forget how good Dwight was, in 2009 Dwight lead a team whose next best players were Lewis and hedo past the big three of the Celtics and lebrons cavs all the way to the finals, Yao could never dream of sniffing that level of impact
