Wallace should have been ahead of Deke.
I've been on hiatus for a bit but I'll explain why at some point before too long.

But if you want to believe Deke is the better choice, just say the word and I'll decline to explain why you are wrong. You're in good company here with others who don't get it.

Best player left on the board? Tracy McGrady
Best defensive force on the board? Ben Wallace
Most successful player on the board? Tony Parker or Manu Ginobili
Hmmmm...
This is probably a wasted vote, but I'll take Tracy McGrady. In his prime (which was far too short unfortunately) he was one of the 10 best perimeter scorers I've ever seen.
He had a 5-year stretch of 27.6/6.8/5.3/44.3%/35.3%.....25.6 PER. That's Kobe-level stats with better rebounding and higher PER.

And less defense.
Re: 2015 Anger General Greatest post-merger Players of All Time #45
Need to research a bit.

Hard to get past the no wins in a playoff series when we still got finals mvps on the board.

I guess the question I'm asking myself is:
If T-Mac played alongside Duncan.......or had a cast of Ben Wallace and company......would have have had championship success? To me, the answer is yes....but that's obviously just a hypothetical.

Amongst other trivial stats like points, rebounds, assists and shooting percentages. But never mind all that...Shill Jackson wrote:Did Rob just use PER?

Leaning towards Manu...but I'm open to a few others.

Re: 2015 Anger General Greatest post-merger Players of All Time #45
Ginobili has a career PER of 21 in the reg season and 20 in the playoffs, which are stronger than Tonii Parker's PER of 19 and 17, respectively.
Of course Parker has always played more minutes than Manu, who averaged less than 30/game. Their per 36 stats are quite similar.
Parker's 2007 finals MVP was a bit of a gift vs an undermanned opponent. I would say Ginobili's 2005 playoffs are better than any playoff run Parker had.
Think I'll go Manu, by a fraction.

I'm going to go with the best player on the board at this point and that's Tracy McGrady. His teams never won a playoff series...but they also weren't very good either.
