To be fair isn't 4/17 about par for the course for Melo nowadays? ;)

But I agree. Kawhi is a great player and continues to improve his game. The sky's the limit for him, IMO.

He seems to elevate his game against elite competition. Not only the Finals against Lebron, but he outplayed Durant in the opener, and he was clearly locked into making Melo's life miserable tonight.

Like you suggest, he's got the potential to be very special.

3rd best SF in the game, with the gap between him and #2 being closer than the gap between him and #4.
