I'll vote for Ray Allen. He was a solid #1 option....clutch player....great scorer....awesome role player....and one of the greatest shooters in NBA history. He's a solid choice for this spot.
It's also time to nominate James Worthy. His playoff success is enough to garner attention at this point. He was more impactful on his teams' success than Tony Parker was/is for the Spurs IMO.
Think of how stupid the average person is, and realize half of them are dumber than that.
My vote, yet again, is for Reggie Miller. He's ringless and was not as individually skilled as Ray. The stats are pretty much a push. what he was able to do with the tools that he had in the circumstances that he regularly played in enough for me to put him a slot above Ray, despite Ray's rings.
Reggie was A Top Dog for 18 seasons in Indiana, was the 2nd most prolific 3-pt shooter ever, one of the clutchest players ever and was only stopped by 2 of the most dominating forces in NBA History......MJ and the Bulls and Shaq and the Lakers from establishing further eliteness.
Sure Parker is a nice player, with a Finals MVP and 4 Titles, but he rode the back of Duncan for most of those. There is simply no way TP is better than Miller or Ray Allen.

Neither Reggie nor Allen has the hardware TP has. And, like Scottie Pippen, Tony Parker shouldn't be punished for having played with an all-time great. He's a great player in his own right.

Tony Parker one year was 3rd in FG%. 2 guys ahead of him were Shaq and Eddy Curry.

He simply wasn't. He was a "good" player on average who had a handful of great moments (lots of which were in the playoffs).
But you are what you repeatedly do, and Reggie's baseline was squarely in the "good, but not a superstar" camp.
We're on player #41 on this list and it doesn't include anyone prior to 1976. I think we're a little bit outside of the "great player" category. We don't even have any MVPs left to choose from other than D-Rose, who won't make this list. No lead dog champions remain. We're at the stage where it's either "really good lead dogs that didn't win titles", or "really good role players that helped win titles".
Reggie fits one of those descriptions.

I was mostly referencing Dwcma's post above, which sort of had that tone to me of at least romanticizing Reggie Miller's career...which I think happens more than other good players because he has an unusual amount of discrete and powerful accomplishments in the playoffs for someone of his baseline level of play.
Miller is a fine pick here for sure.
