Ripper definitely tried to thump his chest by banning people who didn't deserve it. Rules clearly stated that you can post a picture of yourself (which artman did) and if someone posts a picture of themselves, that picture is free game for others to post.

Why are people acting like Ripper made the rules? If any of you took the time to even graze over the rules PROBOARDS MADE, you would see that ANYONE given moderator privileges had the right to modify, delete, or ban ANY posts/posters for ANY reason or - especially with the "artman pic" obsession -NO reason at all. That was a standard set by PROBOARDS, not Ripper, not JJ, not any of the mods.
Did Ripper somehow "abuse" his powers? No, because the PROBOARDS terms of service clearly states that any moderator reserves the right to do what he did.
Again, PROBOARDS wrote the TOS. You wanna be bitter and mad at someone, be mad at them. And maybe be mad at all your school reading teachers for not providing adequate comprehension skills. Because hey, why take any accountability? It's much easier to point fingers.
