Just watched the last episode of the daily show

Man what a neat way to go. Him and colbert used to be the only way I would even watch news. Can't believe how long his run lasted though.

Anyone know why he's not doing it anymore? Like is he retiring or getting cancelled.

retiring, not getting cancelled.
Oh good for him then. I was gonna be a little surprised if he was getting cancelled. Hard to believe so many people started there.

Change of scenery. Comedy Central would never cancel his show it makes too much money.

Basically just bashed republicans and their views. Watched a total of 2-3 episodes in total.

For the record The Daily Show wasn't Stewart's creation. He was just in the right place at the right time when Kilborn left. Stewart was actually a decent up and coming comic and talk show host before he took the reigns. He was briefly pegged to take over The Late Show when Letterman retired.

I'm aware that he didn't create it, but I think it's definitely associated with him at this point.

Edit: that's why I said he had a nice run.

I preferred Kilborn to Stewart.
