Revis, at 28 and fully recovered from the 2012 knee injury, is going into next season as arguably the best shutdown corner in the league along with Richard Sherman and considered by anybody with half a brain as an upgrade from the oft injured Talib. When your pass defense is as bad as New England's was last year, there's no such thing as overpaying for the best defensive back in the game (and yes, I do realize I'm contradicting myself with an almost opposite take I had in a thread this morning on Denver's Talib signing).
