Well, here is the big picture.

TRUE superstars run the league, and for the most part, now that the Kobe era has ended, the LeBron era, and to a lesser extent the Durant era has started. The only team in the east right now capable of derailing the Heat are the Pacers.
The Bulls REAL best opportunity is if Rose fully recovers, and Miritoc pans out. Otherwise, short of LeBron or Melo going to the Bulls, they will be on the outside looking in.
