Yes, the heavy dose of religious threads is getting to be a little too much. It's a major turn-off and only enjoyable once-in-awhile. If I wanted to join a religious message board I would.

Nobody is trying to silence you, but what is the point of bringing up religion almost EVERY DAY on a board where you aren't going to convert a single soul? It comes to a point where each religious thread feels like a troll attempt.

If you want to talk about religion ad nauseam, you should find a place where that is the general topic of conversation. That's just an opinion of course. It's a free board.

Seekers of "the Truth" aren't coming to this board to look for it. It doesn't make me uncomfortable to talk about religion, but there comes a point where it isn't conducive to traffic on a sports message board. Topics here generally are for debate, or at least that's what I come to do. Either debate or talk shit. If I'm to engage in conversation about religion I'm going to be in a debate position, not an agreeance position. However, the debate on religion isn't what someone like you wants. You're not looking for debate on the topic, you're simply looking for submission to your "truth". Others can't argue with you because you simply turn the argument to hearsay or an ancient book that has many, many contradictions and unproveable "facts".

Religion is a personal choice and should be done personally. People that try to push their various religious beliefs on others is the biggest turn-off of all regarding religion.
