Depends on what they have to throw in with amare. But pairing Kobe with Melo is better than anything else they can line up. No one is lining up to go there with 30 yr old Melo either.

The Knicks are in their first season with Fish as the HC and with Phil. Why in the hell would they want to bring in "another ISO ball dominant player" in Kobe to pair with Melo?? Their defense only gets worse with Kobe.
There's no logical explanation whatsoever for the NYK to persue Kobe and bring in his 2yr 48mil salary.
