Teams would literally have to deplete their roster to afford Kobe. I just tried 4 Cavs bench players + Kevin Love for Kobe on the trade machine. Anything less than shedding lots of contracts puts the Cavs (and most of the league) over the luxury tax.

I highly doubt that. Why the fug would they give up Stat, Hardaway jr. and picks for a washed up chucker (that can no longer play defense) that will do nothing but be detrimental to the team moving forward? They need to get younger, not older.

Knicks have over 20+mil coming off the books next season and a 1st round pick. Bringing in Kobe would make no sense whatsoever.
