Re: WhatIfSports Draft, Round 6-bench champs, Bush's pick
Well, I was scared to death Bush would take my guy, but thankfully he did not. I needed a SG something awful and will continue with the theme of stifling defense, taking Michael Cooper of the 86/87 Lakers FOR THE WIN!!!!!!!!!!!
Re: WhatIfSports Draft, Round 6-bench champs, Max's pick
Odom was the only other guy I checked out. I haven't looked at the whatifsports ratings but I figured Ginobli would fit my team better than Odom. I couldn't see Lamar getting minutes when I have Duncan and Love.Ghostown42 wrote:Statistically, Manu was the 2nd best guy you could've picked. Odom was the best. I was surprised you didn't take Odom, considering you're a Laker fan.Max wrote:Thanks guys. 07 it is

Wait...wait...wait...Bush, you have to pick again. Mitch Kupchak was picked the previous round.

He took Bobby Jones as his second choice. It's in his last post.Ghostown42 wrote:Wait...wait...wait...Bush, you have to pick again. Mitch Kupchak was picked the previous round.

@l3bron is on the clock. You have until 8:50pm ET.
Re: WhatIfSports Draft, Round 6-bench champs, l3bron's pick
Fuck balls.
That's okay though. I'll just have to find some rebounding later on...but I majorly gain on defense and I don't need any more scoring.
At least I have a tentative starting 5 now.
Grizz, I would have taken Cooper before Bobby Jones, but I am pretty much set in the backcourt, relative to the frontcourt. That's a good pick.

Taking a break from the board. Please reference my last post for more details if you are interested.

I was going to take Terry if Cooper was gone. I absolutely had to have a sg.y2ktors wrote:NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Ghostown42 wrote:fpliii sent me a PM. He takes '11 Jason Terry.

Re: WhatIfSports Draft, Round 6-bench champs, y2ktor's pick
Well I think I know who I am going after. Probably should have drafted him in the last round.
Re: WhatIfSports Draft, Round 6-bench champs, l3bron's pick
1987 as well. It was between Toni and Jason Terry but combo guards are easier to come by (especially since the 3 point round is still on the horizon.)y2ktors wrote:Which year were you looking at for Coop?l3bron wrote:Damn, Cooper was my pick. Give me a minute.

This one is a tough call but I have to go with:
1990 Mark Aguirre
98 total games 43 total starts
