You would think so, but for some reason, his defensive rating that season is pretty crappy. Overall, his ratings are good, but he is only a 56 that season. That's why I ended up taking Pervis over him.

It seems the salaries are only tied to statistical production and I have no idea how they come up with the defensive ratings. I assume since they have them though, that they must come into play in the simulations.
