He was great in terms of giving you points, rebounds, blocks, and steals. Assists though is not on the level of those 2.

Pippen... he should have been selected long ago.

So when do you believe Pip should have been selected? I feel like the 25-30 range is fair.thedangerouskitchen wrote:Pippen... he should have been selected long ago.

Ahead of Barkley, Dirk, Karl Malone and Baylor for sure...PhutureDynasty wrote:So when do you believe Pip should have been selected? I feel like the 25-30 range is fair.thedangerouskitchen wrote:Pippen... he should have been selected long ago.

Cousy And McHale have been on the boards for several rounds and haven't received single vote yet.ripper76 wrote:That's a pretty solid top 25 list.
I haven't decided on my vote for this round yet. I'm curious to see the arguments.
We probably need to add several players to the ballot too.
But I do agree that more candidates need to be added very soon.

Baylor, yes. Barkley's not a given but I could see Pip ahead of him. Malone and Dirk should be ahead of Pip but not by much.thedangerouskitchen wrote:Ahead of Barkley, Dirk, Karl Malone and Baylor for sure...PhutureDynasty wrote:So when do you believe Pip should have been selected? Malone played alongside a Top 3-5 PG ever for 20 years and never won squat... plus he (Karl) was a notorious playoff choker. No way is he ahead of Pip.
Dirk...? Maybe, possibly I could agree.

I think McHale tends to get seriously underrated.y2ktors wrote:Cousy And McHale have been on the boards for several rounds and haven't received single vote yet.ripper76 wrote:That's a pretty solid top 25 list.

McHale might of had the best post game in the history of the sport itself. Was thinking about nominating Nique but don't know what the rest of the board would say to that. Had some great duels with Jordan and Bird.ripper76 wrote:I think McHale tends to get seriously underrated.y2ktors wrote:Cousy And McHale have been on the boards for several rounds and haven't received single vote yet.ripper76 wrote:That's a pretty solid top 25 list.

Utah did underachieve often. But on the same level Pip wasn't exactly an elite playoff performer post-1993. He also doesn't match Malone's longevity with consistency.thedangerouskitchen wrote:y2ktors wrote:Baylor, yes. Barkley's not a given but I could see Pip ahead of him. Can the Pippen/Barry voters get organized and agree to pick one candidate for each of the next two rounds, so that Zeke doesn't accidentally slip in?
Re: 2014 Anger General Geatest of All Time: #26 selection
Pippen has started to get a few more votes. I expect him to get a few more this round.... Maybe enough to pass Isiah.Kobeunderbite wrote:Can the Pippen/Barry voters get organized and agree to pick one candidate for each of the next two rounds, so that Zeke doesn't accidentally slip in?

No he shouldn't have. He's lucky if he even gets into the top 30.thedangerouskitchen wrote:Pippen... he should have been selected long ago.
My vote here is for Patrick Ewing.
