I'll switch my nomination to Stockton.
Sam Jones is one of those guys defined by clutch plays... sadly it was 50+ years ago.

KG got in at 19 but Dirk may not get in until maybe 3+ spots back. I guess that's what surprises me the most. Their careers have basically been rather synonymous. Not quite Magic and Bird level but I was almost positive that they'd get selected back to back.

that is because KG fans are bias...they won't give credit where is due.y2ktors wrote:KG got in at 19 but Dirk may not get in until maybe 3+ spots back. I guess that's what surprises me the most. I'm no KG fan at all but I had been voting for him for a few rounds before he finally was selected.Macrotus wrote:that is because KG fans are bias...they won't give credit where is due.y2ktors wrote:KG got in at 19 but Dirk may not get in until maybe 3+ spots back. Which makes it mind-boggling a guy like Kobe is #8 all-time while Hondo can't even crack Top 20.876Stephen wrote:8 titles, a couple as the "lead dog"vcsgrizzfan wrote:It shouldn't be.y2ktors wrote:The surge by Hondo is really surprising to me.
