I remember in an episode of GT that Bulma said that she could possibly have made Vegeta a SS5. Wonder why they didn't go that route with the whole DBZ and GT series that Vegeta always tried to become stronger then Goku. Only time he was officially stronger then him was the first fight when he was at 18,000 to Goku's 9,000

You know if the show continued he would have gone SSJ5, Vegeta and Piccolo would stay in their roles as cannon fodder for every villains until Goku defeats them.

Logically he should have been able to pull out all of the stops to beat him, but the show held back.

Yeah held back because something about fighting as SSJ3 would shorten his time on Earth.

I think Goku would have died to Majin Vegeta if he never convinced Vegeta to snap out of it. Vegeta fights to kill, even more so with the bloodlust. I see Goku realizing that too late.

And in the latest movie Goku admits that Enraged SSJ2 Vegeta is far stronger than him at SSJ3.

Gogeta - the fusion between SSJ4 Goku & Vegeta would have obliterated anything from the Majin era.

Gogeta basically destroys Omega Shenron, pretty much the most powerful villian in the Dragonball universe, before running out of fusion time.

I rewatched Battle of the Gods this morning. Master Roshi, Bills and Goku all admit that Vegeta surpassed Goku. He was landing stuff on Bills that Goku could not. Enraged SSJ2 Vegeta >>>>>> SSJ3 Goku.

Vegeta was the hero defending the Earth for once and Goku was just looking to fight a strong opponent. Total reversals of roles from the show and other films.

Goku later becomes SSJ God because he knew Bills and Whis were testing if Vegeta and him were a real threat and he planned on backing down from Bills, something Vegeta would not do.

I understand why Gohan was so strong. Proper training since he was 4 years old, battle tested going up against opponents who outclassed him, but Goten and Trunks fusion reaching SSJ3 was BS. Same thing with the Mystic power up that let Gohan catch up without training. I would have liked to see Future Trunks reach SSJ3 before Gotenks, he was battle tested and desperate.

I think you're right about that. Vegeta has unfinished business with Bills because of whatever happened between Bills and his dad.
