Jelan Kendrick, a 2010 McDonald's HS All-American (same year as guys like Kyrie Irving, Jared Sullinger, & Tobias Harris) is currently a junior at UNLV.

Recruited by Memphis - gets kicked off the team before the season even starts for allegedly fighting with teammates and mouthing off to coaches. He had already been suspended by the team twice before.

Transfers to Ole Miss - Kendrick LEAVES THE ARENA during warmups for a regular season game, but not before going up into the stands to get his girlfriend. He then returns and sits on the bench for the remainder of the game. Needless to say that would be his last game at Ole Miss.

Transfers to Indian Hills CC. Plays a season there before finally(?) enrolling at UNLV this season.


If you're keeping track, UNLV is his 4th school in as many years. Other guys from that 2010 McD's AA game like Keith Appling, Joe Jackson, and Patric Young are all in their senior seasons at Michigan State, Memphis, and Florida, respectively.
