No, I'll vote Kobe 9th or 10th.
Me too :agree:

But to Kobe fans that is not good enough.

Kobe without Shaq: 10 seasons, 10 all-star appearances, 2 Titles, 2 FMVP, 1 MVP, 9 All-NBA appearances, 7 All-NBA D appearances, 2 scoring titles (>>> and counting).
Shaq without Kobe: 11 seasons, 8 all-star appearances, 1 Title, 0 FMVP, 0 MVP, 7 All-NBA appearances, 0 All-NBA D appearances, 1 scoring title.

Guys, Shaq has a gigantic advantage over Kobe on a peak performance front.

Not to mention he is a big vs. Kobe's wing.

I voted for Kobe, but there are arguments to be made for Shaq as well.
Taking a break from the board. Please reference my last post for more details if you are interested.

Yeah, Shaq played his PRIME years with Kobe...............Kobe did NOT play his prime years with Shaq.

Your point is invalid.

Kobe's prime lasted about 11-12 years, and Shaq's physical prime came before playing with Kobe.

It's no coincidence that people stopped considering him as arguably the best player in the game immediately after he left Kobe.

Definitely wasn't because Shaq was then 32 years old and in his 12th season.

Yes, that one seasons difference immediately altered everyone's view on Shaq, and it had nothing to do with not playing with Kobe.

Yup.....I see what you mean about his big fall-off.

Oh, and he was 1st team All-NBA both of his first two seasons in Miami. So there's that.

Yup.....I see what you mean about his big fall-off.

Wait... did I say that he performed worse?

You may want to check your reading glasses there, son.

So then, at the very least, you admit that Kobe spent EIGHT seasons with the guy who was considered the best player in the NBA. Amirite?

Uhhh... no? Did you miss the word "arguably" ?

In the discussion for best player in the NBA, certainly. But to pretend that he was the consensus best player for those 8 seasons, head-and-shoulders above Kobe, Duncan, or Garnett is silly.

Just a shame that Kobe fans attitude haven't changed in which if you don't have Kobe where they have Kobe then obviously you just hate Kobe.

Kobe played a prominent role in all 5 championships.

Shaq mean while averaged....14 pts in his 4th championship. He didn't even play in closing minutes cause his defense was so bad.

3 rpg? Talk about hating on somebody so much that you just make a stupid statement. The mavs crowded around Shaq which is why his scoring was so low.
