lol I don't have a pet right now, but I don't mind animals.

Growing up my family had dogs, my parents still have one at their house. They're certainly better than cats.

Reptiles are legit, but I fucking hate turtles. Smell awful. Not a fan of birds either. No stance on fish (but I eat a lot of sushi/sashimi, so I don't think I'd want to own any).

How a cat is when it's an adult has everything to do with how it's treated when it's young. Dogs are similar. If you see a bad cat or a bad dog there is usually someone responsible for how that animal is.

I like both. I prefer to have dogs when I have a place with plenty of room for them outside. Right now we have two cats and they are wonderful. They are very playful and affectionate. Very intelligent too.

It's ignorant to make sweeping generalizations about one being better than the other when talking about cats and dogs.

Not really, a "goldfish" is just a generic name for hundreds of different species of carp, some of which can grow to big enough sizes for eating.
