That explains why foreigners don't want to learn English. The 2nd rate teachers are the ones who go to the 3rd world to "teach" them

Yes I killed a dog. Yes I have a witness saying it was self defense. What kind of dog owner needs to tase their dog to get it to obey.

When I lived in Glassell Park a coyote was jumping into yards and grabbing small dogs. He/she eventually was chased down by a pair of pitbulls. Usually Coyote's attract dogs and lead them out to a bigger pack to kill the chasing dog. It was cool to get good press for the breed for a change
this is the fault of the owners who leave food and small pets outside to attract the coyote.
Coyote is just being what it is.
I happen to love Coyotes but I am not assigning fault to someone who leaves their dog in their yard. Below is a picture of a Coyote laying on my former neighbors drive way. My dogs wanted to go talk to her
I see coyotes all the time and enjoy them as well. They are opportunists. They aren't a danger at all in most cases.
If people live next to wilderness, seeing wild animals should not be unexpected. The people who leave their dogs in the yard are at fault, not the coyote.
I understand what you're saying, but people should chose suburbia if they don't want to change their behavior.

Pitbulls are illegal in Miami

What? Your dog cant feind for it own fucking self?

I met a guy once in gainesville who live in a silver bullet with his pit bull...he use to give it cocaine freezes on the gums and make it tow him around the trailer park on his skateboard...that pit bull was a sweetheart but super muscular as a result of the training... :|
Fuck dogs though..a nuisance in general..
And especially fuck cats..most worthless animal on the anet and they only come around when they want something like a bitch

me on the morning before my daughter's birthday party a few months ago and i was terrified. Turns out she was very sweet and friendly, did as I told and just kept running alongside of me. I know that dogs can be unpredictable, so I never let my guard down. Ran her to the guard gate, where they politely told me to GTFO - asked them to send an e-mail to homeowners. Ran with her around the neighborhood and got her water until it was time for me to go.

Called a friend that does dog rescues and she said I had to let her loose - just leave her. If I called animal control, she would've been put to sleep. Still scary though, to have her running towards me. And she at no time jumped and I never put my hands on her to try to pet her. She was so well-behaved but you never know...
True, dogs can be unpredictable. They are great dogs to run with though. They can run all day

A shitty one. You should have stabbed the owner. ( I am being somewhat facetious)

Stars hasn't responded to my posts...

The thing I have a hard time understanding is how an(admittedly)old fat man stabbed a furious deadly pitbull to death mid-lunge while holding a dog in his other arm.

Hmm...

Hey stars it's cool, dawg. You just bought a knife in a premeditated moment of hatred, saw the the dog trotting towards you from a block away, and then instead of just crossing the street or moving away like a smart person would, you stabbed the crazy fucker to death in front of it's owner. It's fine bro, nothing to worry about, we've all been there.

Did you lick the blade clean? Please tell me you licked the blade clean.

Sounds like Stars has a dog named macie and the pitbull tried to attack it.
Well, if it's in self-defense then it's alright. I hate how some laws value animal rights ahead of human rights.
Indeed. System is all fucked up.

Pit bulls are mean typically cause of how they have been raised. My in-laws have one and it's a big baby.

So did you toss Macie and brandish your knife or were you shanking the pit with one hand while cradling your miniature poodle in the other?

Are you claiming horse _ too? What part of the story are you having the most problems with, if any. Based on his assessment of what happened do you find this to be a reasonable use of force? If you were writing a story would you dig deeper? :pop2:

Only read the first and last pages.
But Encyclopedia Brown would be able to figure out whether Bugs Meaney (DaStars) was telling the truth in only about 2 pages.

I do know that pit bulls are fast and strong. And that killing anything that's moving with a knife that's fast and moving quickly would not be an easy thing to do. Especially in a moment of relative panic. But maybe shuffleboard really improves a person's reflexes or something.

Very well done. You should really read the whole thread. It Is comedy gold, dripping with irony. One jem actually said, "Get a gun because Pitbulls are dangerous" (Of course I am paraphrasing)

I feel very bad for you Stars. Seriously. Had to be pretty scary and pretty upsetting.

As far as those suggesting Stars is "fibbing", he's been here one helluva long time and can anyone ever recollect any BS even once? I didn't think so, so he more than gets the benefit of the doubt.

I think Lookaway and Max need a reality check.

Maybe I'm just bitter that all of my stories/threads are less than thrilling?

"I ate pizza today, but it didn't have enough cheese."
"So, this guy in the bathroom was acting weird."
"Have I told you about my house search yet this hour?"
"Green stuff. What's the deal with that?"
