Well progressively when his son starts getting bullied in school, we'll see his dad's tone change.

Culturally it isn't horrible. Some cultures used to dress their boys like girls, so that "God would spare the child" I don't remember which country

This openly gay, married man was trying to make me feel better about a problem that didn't exist. If my son is gay, so be it. Maybe he is. Maybe he's not. Maybe he'll be a cross dresser. Maybe not. I have no control over any of it. All I can do is be supportive.

Being supportive of aberrant behavior isn't parenting; it's capitulation. Dad needs to explain to son that dresses are what girls wear, but we're guys, so we don't wear that stuff.
I know, I'm old-fashioned. I'm also not the one whose little boy is going to get the snot beat out of him on the playground because he's wearing a freaking dress! :L

It's lazy, irresponsible parenting.

holy crap the comments in that article are so supportive of him, about the first 10 or so I read. I was ready to grab some popcorn and read the flaming but it never came. WTF is wrong with this world, up is down and left is right. This is the liberal agenda at work. Acceptance and those who oppose are snuffed out and labeled as bigots/racist/haters/intolerant.

Any virtue can be fetishized into a vice.

Such is the case here. Tolerance and acceptance morphing into capitulation and laziness.

You all should read the comments section. Not good.
Taking a break from the board. Please reference my last post for more details if you are interested.

Regardless if the kid ends up gay, it's lazy parenting for sure. Kids always test their limits and this guy is just going to let his kid do whatever in the name of "Not limiting his potential" and all that does is create losers.
