Re: Who is your NBA MVP this season?
Let's take a look at some advanced stats between the two teams.
The next 6 players (by minutes played) behind the stars of each team have this:
VORP
OKC - 3.4 - 2.1 - 1.5 - 1.4 - 1.4 - 1.2 - Average: 1.83
DEN - 1.7 - 1.6 - 1.2 - 1.2 - 0.5 - 0.1 - Average: 1.05
BPM
OKC - 4.0 - 3.2 - 1.3 - 1.1 - 1.0 - 0.2 - Average: 1.8
DEN - 1.2 - 0.8 - 0.3 - (-0.1) - (-1.1) - (-1.8) - Average: (-0.1)
The supporting casts aren't in the same zip code...or even the same area code. And, as has already been mentioned:
When Jokic isn't on the floor Denver is -8.5.
When SGA isn't on the floor OKC is +5.7.

Think of how stupid the average person is, and realize half of them are dumber than that.

Let's do something as simple as real +/-.
OKC when SGA is on the court: +918
OKC when SGA is off the court: +137
DEN when Jokic is on the court: +594
DEN when Jokic is off the court: -275
OKC when SGA is on the court: +918
OKC when SGA is off the court: +137
DEN when Jokic is on the court: +594
DEN when Jokic is off the court: -275

A lot of subtle racism happening in this thread by posters who also root for the Celtics.
Not surprising in the slightest.
Do better.

Don't you dare ever say my racism is subtle. It is clear, blatant and obvious.

I want Jokic to win MVP because he's White, and I'm White.

Which AG poster used to call white people “pinkies”? Cuz that’s more accurate for light skinned folk. “White” is like a blank sheet of paper. Pink/peach is more in line with reality.

So that means Abe was the pinkest poster here before he left?
I think Rob and Stars are fighting for that distinction now.

58-6 is the best one of that bunch.
50-6 is reasonable
59-4 and 55-4 could probably work if they cleaned up some.
62-7 if she has a good personality.

Re: Who is your NBA MVP this season?
Offensively Joker's supporting cast is just as good OR better you fool... the stats clearly prove that fact. Are you suggesting stats don't matter anymore?_Vcsgrizzfan_ wrote: ↑Fri Apr 25, 2025 1:28 pm There is no universe where Chet Holmgren, Jalen Williams, Hartentstein, Dort etc is equivalent to Murray, Porter, Braun and Gordon, especially on the defensive end.

Defensively we already KNOW is "the" difference between the 2 supporting casts... and that's because SGA sets the tone for his team on that end of the floor, and his supporting cast follows suit (just like Jordan set the tone for the Bulls, and inspired his teammates to go all-out on the Defensive end AS WELL AS Offensively).
Joker doesn't step-up on Defense... he's not a complete slacker (like LeFraud the past 10 years) but he's nowhere even remotely close to being dialed-in on Defense like he is on Offense AND, as the undisputed leader, his teammates follow his lead (again, like LeFraud, which explains why the Lakers and Nuggets are both on the verge of losing to LOWER seeds who are MUCH better Defensively... and again, playing great Defense has nothing to do with talent/skill).
This is further evidence that SGA >>>> Joker Defensively, as a Scorer, and as a Team Player. Joker is all empty (Offensive) stats, again, like LeFraud.
These are irrefutable facts.
You lose, thanks for playing.
"Today's NBA is soft, the Defense is weak, and the rules 'really' favor the Offense."
"Lebron doesn’t guard for a full game and our game plan was to get him to play defense and he left me open all game."

36/21/8
I think Joker is pretty good at basketball.
His teammates shot 42 percent too. Great contribution.

Jokic is a good basketball player.
Edit: By the way, one point off Bird's career playoff point high, while grabbing one more rebound than Bird's career playoff rebound high.
