Very few are likely to have even heard of him, but he was a very funky pitcher from days gone by.

He literally would very often be facing center field, just before delivering the pitch to the plate. Can't imagine how unnerving that would have been as a hitter.

Watching a couple of highlights, reminds me of a few of the modern guys who will work in a hesitation move on their delivery like Cueto, Cortes and Stroman.
