Houses are built to code to withstand high winds here unlike in NC. So it's coastal that is fucked. Not inland. Plus it weakens and speads out when it hits land and spreads all the concentrated force out.

have you seen how deep in land tennesee and NC are? I think those states are deeper in land compared to the width of Florida at its mid point.

Arty should be relatively safe...He will get alot of wind and rain, and there could be a threat of residual tornadoes, but as long as his area has decent water management, they will get through it...

I'm in a more upscale area and well above sea level with no real nearby body of water.
I've watched all past hurricanes fly over on my tv with zero damage or outages.
Probably get the eye as usual. Which is better. Two short bursts is better than long drawn out bursts
