At this point, there is no amount of cognitive bias in TDK that would surprise me. If the shoes were reversed, and LeBron's son was struggling with addiction and acting entitled, do you seriously think TDK's take would be similar? What never ceases to amaze me is that he doesn't even recognize one little bit how much cognitive bias he walks around with.ElJorge wrote: ↑Tue Oct 01, 2024 1:08 pmWe’re literally seeing the results of their fatherhood. Fuck outta here with that. His son is literally a fucking druggie trust fund kid. Some times you need to help shape your children’s future, like what Lebron did. At least Bronny is pushing his physical limits trying to accomplish something. Does anyone think he’s mad about making millions to play on the Lakers with his dad?
If Jordan is guilty of anything it's that he was TOO great and TOO successful, and set TOO BIG of a standard for his son, who is obviously suffering from the pressure of being the GOAT's son. LeBronny doesn't have that pressure because his daddy isn't a pimple on MJ's ass, and everyone knows LeFraud had to cheat/collude to get to the top, unlike MJ, who earned his stripes legit.
Factoids.
Do you even have any kids? Anyone that says they wouldn’t try to help their children succeed are either liars or shitty dads.

Yeah, it would have been much easier for Jordan if he "pulled a LeBron" and colluded with (say) Dream and Stockton to form a Super Team, instead of staying loyal to the Bulls and working with the talent he was given, paying his dues, and winning through hard work and sacrifice (as opposed to bragging about how easy it was gonna be AFTER he failed miserably for 7 years to lead his team to a Championship despite coming off back to back #1 seeded teams, like LeFraud).Bush4Ever. wrote: ↑Tue Oct 01, 2024 12:37 pm Unfortunately for Jordan, he couldn't completely rely on Pippen, Jackson, and the supporting environment to develop functional adults and win the parenting game.
Amazingly, another "coincidental" failure occurs when Jordan has to perform on his own merits.

What does any of that have to do with having a drug addicted son and literally enslaving other children to make shoes?

You seem to be taking this topic very personally... ... and I never said a father shouldn't help his kids, I said a father shouldn't teach his kid that the way to get ahead is by cheating and strongarming people, which is precisely what LeBron did in Miami and LA.ElJorge wrote: ↑Tue Oct 01, 2024 1:08 pmWe’re literally seeing the results of their fatherhood. II can see that. Perhaps you should bow out of the discussion now, before you have another complete meltdown.
