Re: Trump getting taken out behind the woodshed right now
Im not even gonna lie, Trump lost this debate. All Harris had to do was not "lose" it and she won. Trump didn't capitalize on any point, jumped around, sounded disorganized, yeah that's how he always plays his debates, but tonight was bad. He officially lost it when he said, "I have "concepts" of a plan" and when he brought up the migrants eating people's pets (lol, which is true, but the normies aren't ready for that).
Doesn't matter. They won't let Trump in anyway, I told you this right after his assassination attempt, nothing will matter. Elections are rigged now.

Trump is just a shitty debater because of the constant hyperbole. It works at his rallies and even in a short interview format. But in a debate, it just always sounds like he's completely full of shit. Everything about himself he describes as the greatest ever and anything about anyone else is the worst thing that has ever happened. It sounds like he gets all of his information second hand. Like TDK is his neighbor and that's how he got all his facts. "You know they are eating dogs and cats now." "Democrats are having babies at 9 months and then just killing the baby."

You really posting this when the current Vice President just spent 90 minutes not answering a single question on her plans?manchild98 wrote: ↑Tue Sep 10, 2024 10:30 pm Sounds like we're about to finally get that new health care plan....he's working on it....soon.

So what are we thinking in terms of movement?
Neutral to very small bump for Harris?
That seems to be the rough average of what I am reading across multiple sources.

Yes but not from anyone that actually watched the debate. Normies who didn’t tune in and just see the “OMG Kamala slayed” headlines that we’re about to get be flooded with from the MSM and will lean her way just from that.Bush4Ever. wrote: ↑Tue Sep 10, 2024 11:19 pm So what are we thinking in terms of movement?

Did not watch. I’ll read the Cliff’s notes

I totally forgot about the debate while he's been counting the minutes for weeks. What a loser. I'm not even watching. Couldn't give a fuck.

Didn’t watch 1 second of the debate but I already know Trump lost. He’s literally running a worse campaign than Hillary, surrounded by Zionist faggots, and isn’t even funny anymore.
Still love you Alpha D, but it’s time to hang it up.

Y’all need to calm down. They only states Kamala winning is California and New York… and that’s by default.
Relax.

Re: Trump getting taken out behind the woodshed right now
It was a tie which is a win for Kamala. Moderators didn't help but all people care about is the scoreboard. It is what it is, Trump is a little past his prime and too easily triggered, too arrogant to prepare for the debate. This won't move the needle much but I'm good if they want to pull a Biden on Trump and slide in RFK as the nominee.

Nope. Watched first half hour because it was on. Then went to bed.AlaskaHawks wrote: ↑Tue Sep 10, 2024 10:04 pm Lol at the OP tuned in intently to a debate hanging onto every word as gospel. What a loser. Most people have lives to be living not watching 2 politicians attack eachother like children.
Intently? Not even close but your deflecting from the beatdown is very noted

Trumps trying to act like 2024-2028 has the same landscape as 2016-2020 and thinks he can do the same shit and it will work.
It's not the same and it won't work. He's living in the past and has nothing new to offer.
He's a mess

Re: Trump getting taken out behind the woodshed right now
Ok now I actually watched it in full. I do think that Trump 'won' at face value, but narrowly. He was the dominant presence in the debate which reflected in his having 25% more speaking time. Those things factor in even on a subconscious level. And the moderator gang-up was so blatant that it may have even worked to Trump's advantage in its unfairness.
However the real story here is the missed opportunities for Trump. On every subject I found myself begging him to talk about x, y or z and to ask specific, obvious questions of Kamala and he never did. He didn't hold her to the fire enough on anything - not on Afghanistan, not on meeting with Zelensky just before the war broke out, not on her shapeshifting and lack of baseline principles, not on inflation, not on the idea that he, not the democrats, weaponizes the justice system or divides based on race, not on taxing unrealized gains. He should have LED with his plan to fund IVF on the women's health questions, instead he saved it meekly for last.
It was painful to watch as a Trump supporter because I just know that a sharper candidate whether it be Vance, Vivek, RFK, etc. could have absolutely torpedoed Kamala. But the sad truth of it is that Trump, after three election cycles, is not an amazing debater. He is just okay. In a group setting he is the GOAT, but 1-on-1 doesn't play to his strengths nearly as well. He doesn't have the ability to rapidly process the lies being stated or recall the necessary facts and numbers in real-time in the way that other leaders can. Watching Bibi Netanyahu's conference with the English press the other week, I was amazed at how sharp he is and the mastery of the facts he has on every subject he is challenged on. I felt similarly when watching Putin's interview with Tucker. Trump is not that kind of leader, he is an energy/confidence guy, not a details guy.
For me Kamala came across as the most coached and rehearsed candidate ever. Even her expressions felt extremely artificial and planned in advance. I don't know how much ordinary people are able to detect that kind of stuff, though. To her credit her preparation stuck, because she doesn't have Alzheimer's like Biden. She had a gameplan and she implemented it reasonably well and the fact that she was cogent and poised 'enough' was a victory given where she and Biden had left the bar heading in.
Trump should debate again if he actually plans to do some basic preparation, otherwise just leave it be. It probably won't even matter, the result will come down to who is able to generate more votes and rig successfully, not who can actually inspire more people to support them.

Re: Trump getting taken out behind the woodshed right now
The absolute worst and most upsetting part was Trump's fumble on the Obamacare question, which is loaded to begin with because no one is passing healthcare reforms any time soon in America. But it was the perfect, God-given opportunity to pivot to childhood chronic disease, ultra processed foods, everything he is supposedly planning with RFK and he didn't touch any of that. I was so triggered.

No, he would empower RFK as Secretary of Health, or whatever position necessary, to think and act on it, along with Nicole Shanahan, Calley Means and other likeminded and capable appointees. It's not important at all that he personally think about it as long as he hires the correct people to think about it for him.
Are you aware that Kamala has used photos of Trump's border wall in her own campaign ads to demonstrate her commitment to border security?
Do you still believe that Trump didn't construct nearly 500 miles of new border wall?
The difference between you and I is that I am not an NPC and I am capable of being critical of Trump, as I am critical of his debate performance. You are incapable of doing anything other than parrot the most infamous and pervasive mainstream talking points against him.
