That exchange was like the episode of The Office where Kevin tries to save time by communicating in noises and malformed sentences with fewer words, but ends up losing time because he has to explain what he meant almost every time.

Another incredibly stupid take from TDK. Hakeem played in the post because that is where he could be effective. He wasn't effective from the elbow and he certainly wasn't effective from the arc. The irony is that Jokic is even better in the post than Akeem was. But he is also the best passing center in history and can be effective anywhere on the floor offensively. Post, elbow, arc and always as a double threat, both passing and shooting and even putting the rock on the deck. He is so far better than Akeem offensively, it isn't even funny. You're just way too stupid to recognize it. Of course, you don't watch, so there is that.thedangerouskitchen wrote: ↑Fri Sep 06, 2024 12:31 pmExactly... well said.Alex_Murphy wrote: ↑Fri Sep 06, 2024 12:19 pm Jokic is not better than Shaq or Hakeem offensively but he is the best offensive big in the game today
Meatball's like grizz look at the two players in completely different eras from a lens that does NOT factor in the style/rules of said eras.
I mean, imagine Dream playing to today's wide-open, spread-out Offense with zero Bigs protecting the paint and overall weak/soft Defense, instead of an era where the paint was clogged (making it much tougher to score from 10-feet in), the floor was less spread (making it tougher to Pass), and when Defenders were actually allowed to make contact with their man.
Deam would go down as the GOAT if he played in this era.

Why do you keep spelling it “Akeem”?_Vcsgrizzfan_ wrote: ↑Fri Sep 06, 2024 1:41 pmAnother incredibly stupid take from TDK. Hakeem played in the post because that is where he could be effective. That's how it was spelled when he first broke into the NBA. But you are right. It should be Hakeem. I incorrectly tend to use them interchangeably.ElJorge wrote: ↑Fri Sep 06, 2024 1:49 pmWhy do you keep spelling it “Akeem”?_Vcsgrizzfan_ wrote: ↑Fri Sep 06, 2024 1:41 pmAnother incredibly stupid take from TDK.
