It’s pretty simple…You keep voting for the people you supposedly oppose…
So I align with conservatives on 80-90 percent of issues, and democrats on 0.5 percent of issues, and you're telling me I oppose conservatives?
You always seem to be punching above your mental weight class when you enter political threads and this is certainly no exception.
Oh, I get it…But, Democrats and Republicans alike have put us in this position where we can’t simply do what’s best for America, and you perpetuate that greatly.
For instance, I remember your thread where you basically renounced Trump…And then you backtracked…Your initial intuition was correct…We need to start rebuking these motherfuckers and start holding them accountable.
Instead we just hide behind the old, I agree with them on most things LOL…Fuck that. Your response should be…”Look bitch, get back to the table and fix this shit “
Stop letting whack jobs like Matt Gaetz to hold you hostage.
This is not a zero sum game. Trump and DeSantis, for example, are ideologically aligned on 90 percent of issues, probably more. The argument that Trump is holding the party hostage is the death rattle of a dying breed of boomers, like yourself, who don't realize that it wasn't Trump who killed you, you died of natural causes. You basically outlived your relevance. There is a reason that in contrast to the DNC's parade of politicians, Obama, Clinton, etc, the Bush family wouldn't be caught dead at the RNC, and it isn't Trump. They won't be welcomed back if DeSantis is the candidate in 28, either.
My condemnation of Trump would have resulted in me pivoting to someone who was incredibly similar in terms of policy whether it be DeSantis, Vivek, whoever. No fundamental difference in most ways.
