This stat in particular jumped out IMO… both the 92 Dream Team and the 2024 Team both took about the same amount of jumpers (55% for the 2024 team vs 53% for the Dream Team). But because it’s basically 3pt shots vs midrange shots the difference in points created is 56 vs 47.

I’m of the belief that the Dream Team had the better players due to most of them being closer to their primes… but the modern style is so much better the 92 team would lose a series to the 2024 team.

I was too… of course most of it is just a hypothesis. I don’t believe Owens could’ve matched Bolt even with starting blocks, better shoes and a better track to run on. But who knows?

I think what the video shows with Jesse Owens time is that Owen’s was a good once in a lifetime talent like Bolt.
I definitely see him being competitive with Bolt and both of them lowering the record to around 9.50-9.54 flat. Competition makes people better.

As for the dream team analysis, the guy need to be more bold in his conclusion. If a rule changed caused the switch then it means that dream team 1 is by far better since it had the basic skill set to easily accumulate other skills such as shooting.

Let’s not forget that Kobe is a transitionary player between both eras and for multiple all star selections in both eras.
