Anyone else dry heave while brushing their teeth?

I like to be thorough when brushing… I usually take about 3 solid minutes. But every time the slightest bit of toothpaste foam starts to creep down my mouth I’ll dry heave it back up. My wife and kids think it’s hilarious but honestly it’s the fucking worst lol. And usually one time is all it takes to start the chain reaction going… brush brush brush DRY HEAVE brush brush DRY HEAVE so on and on…

Switch to cinnamon flavored toothpaste I think you would be ok with close up

Side note been using my electric tooth brush now for several weeks and I love it. I find myself spending more time brushing my teeth every time and a single charge lasts forever. I’m going to switch to some charcoal based toothpaste to get some additional whitening

It sounds like you're using too much paste and brushing too long.

I use a pea sized amount for the bottom teeth… rinse out afterwards. A pea sized amount for the top teeth… and then a pea sized amount for the front teeth. So I don’t think it’s the amount that’s the issue. I’ve cleansed my sinuses somewhat beforehand thinking it might be that… no difference. Tried brushing at different times of the day… no difference. Used different toothbrushes, toothpastes, etc. Never any difference.

I use earthpaste, I highly recommend it or dr bronners, stop using the chemical garbage

That’s what I’m thinking my issue is too. But I don’t feel like my teeth are clean unless I get all up in there naw mean? I’d make a terrible prison bitch…

I know exactly what you mean. I get under and on top of the tongue and everything in between. I still brush my teeth at night too which i didn’t find out until way later in life that not everyone does. But I suck at flossing which I believe I had a recent thread about. I’ll get the main toothes and shit but I don’t have the patience or the time to wedge every fuckin tooth that I don’t really involve in the chewing process. Plus the blood. Ain’t tryna look like Fernando Vargas after Dela Hoya flossed them teeth in the 11th round ya’heard!
