I have not had a soda in months now. Ice tea, no sugar.

The data definitely suggests that it is good for us. The data is pretty overwhelming for the typical person, although obviously there are exceptions.manchild98 wrote: ↑Tue Aug 06, 2024 1:36 pm I don't drink coffee....because I never wanted to be that asshole who has to remind you every single day about how they can't possibly function unless they've had their coffee. "Sorry, haven't had my coffee yet today."
Is something really that good for you if you can't function without it?

I agree they are two totally different things. My go to is an americano because so many coffee shops make shitty coffee.wailuaFC wrote: ↑Tue Aug 06, 2024 1:43 pm Drink it daily, light roast is the only way to go. One of my biggest pet peeves is going to a coffee shop and ordering a coffee and getting an americano, two totally different things. Every few months I go a week without any caffeine to make sure I’m not dependent on it. Never had withdrawals but definitely miss the routine of making and enjoying a cup before work

You do realize the light roast has more caffeine than med and dark roastwailuaFC wrote: ↑Tue Aug 06, 2024 1:43 pm Drink it daily, light roast is the only way to go. Yes, that’s one of the reasons I prefer it. It’s also easier to taste the subtle notes, dark roasts and espresso have such heavy burnt profiles that’s all I can taste.Alex_Murphy wrote: ↑Tue Aug 06, 2024 3:33 pmYou do realize the light roast has more caffeine than med and dark roastwailuaFC wrote: ↑Tue Aug 06, 2024 1:43 pm Drink it daily, light roast is the only way to go. You have to get peets Colombian. They know how to grow their shit down there, same people who make all our cocaine too...Then hit it with a splash of nestle french vanilla creamer...That shit is so good no trolllettherebehouse wrote: ↑Tue Aug 06, 2024 1:50 pmEven the taste is whatever. Meh. It’s not worth it to “get used to it” for me.CleveTown™ wrote: ↑Tue Aug 06, 2024 12:08 pm ohhh bro..I couldnt live without coffee. I'd say give it a few days until the side effects go away.
I can't wake up properly without it. I know my body needs it, but I love it.
I just wanted to see what all the hype was about in case I missed it the other times I’ve tried it. And all I can say is meh, could easily go rest of my life without it.
