I gave coffee another try

Post by lettherebehouse »

Maaaan fuck this. Went through a crash yesterday worse than the Yen. Headache, diareah, drowsiness.

Fuck coffee/espresso. And if you’re down with coffee and espresso, then fuck you too!

ohhh bro..I couldnt live without coffee. I'd say give it a few days until the side effects go away.

I can't wake up properly without it. I know my body needs it, but I love it.

Been drinking a double shot of espresso in the morning before my workout for about 5 years now.

Shits better than any pre-workout.

Coffee, not consumed to excess is associated with a ton of benefits, from cardio vascular benefits to delaying or preventing dementia etc.. and is strongly correlated with increased longevity. Bottoms up!

I drink about 3-4 cups a day, stopping at around noon usually. Those cups are real cups, being 8 ounces, so a total of 24-32 ounces or so on average. Always black.

Having said that, one thing I've figured out is that there is no "one size fits all" for health and longevity. Some people just don't react well to coffee (like House here) and so they should probably avoid it.

People who can't function without their morning coffee are some of the most pathetic people on earth

I'll have some from time to time if the people I'm with are . But daily ? That's lame.
I have coffee like 4 times a year at most.

Dictaster is so insecure.
Just get better sleep and stop whining like a bitch.

And it's nothing like a hit of cocaine

I’ll have one cup a day usually… no sugar cream only. Nice way to jumpstart the morning.

Coffee and baileys is the only way to wake up… but I don’t do that every morning.

Quad long shots blond espresso from Starbucks in a tall cup hot and black… that’s my daily.

Man up, bitch.

You couldn’t handle coffee because your autism would be revved up to unseen heights and you would most likely have a seizure and pass out. No troll.

Coffee is beautiful. Almost daily. Occasionally green tea or Yerba Mate to mix it up.
French press. Black. Preferably Central American. My cutoff is about 1.
The crash is from the cream and sugar.

Good point. Could be collateral damage from the Jap mule kick he took to his square shaped head. He never fully recovered from that.

I don't drink coffee....because I never wanted to be that asshole who has to remind you every single day about how they can't possibly function unless they've had their coffee. "Sorry, haven't had my coffee yet today."

Is something really that good for you if you can't function without it?

Drink it daily, light roast is the only way to go. One of my biggest pet peeves is going to a coffee shop and ordering a coffee and getting an americano, two totally different things. Every few months I go a week without any caffeine to make sure I’m not dependent on it. Never had withdrawals but definitely miss the routine of making and enjoying a cup before work

Even the taste is whatever. Meh. It’s not worth it to “get used to it” for me.

I just wanted to see what all the hype was about in case I missed it the other times I’ve tried it. And all I can say is meh, could easily go rest of my life without it.
