Soccer pretends they've never seen other sports. Hey, when the ball goes out of bounds or someone gets hurt/fakes an injury stop the clock....nahhhh. it would be like someone made a basket to take the lead with 1 second left, but the other team is allowed to come down the court and the game doesn't actually end until they get one more shot off or lose possession.
