Odd question about a poster from ESPN days.
He was a huge San Antonio and Tim Duncan fan. I remember he had a very logical mind and was pretty good at being objective about his Spurs. He got Uber pissed off one time and never came back. I can't recall who pissed him off but it was totally out of character. He was usually extremely calm and never rattled. Anybody remember the guy and his handle?

jccorry or something like that?
Edit: or maybe Milco? I think Airmen pissed him off and he threatened to shoot him lol

Ding, ding, ding.... it was Milco. Thanks. His hoops knowledge was really great. Your comment about people changing their minds on things brought him to mind for me. He changed my mind on several things. He was the first guy to convince me that Wilt was overrated. I was SURE he was wrong until I went through all the data, some of which he presented, and some of which I dug up myself. Neat guy.

Yea he was always pretty level headed… Airmen really triggered him but I don’t recall about what. Then he threatened to blast him with a shotty and that was all she wrote. Prob figured getting that worked up wasn’t worth continuing to post._Vcsgrizzfan_ wrote: ↑Tue Jul 30, 2024 4:16 pmDing, ding, ding.... it was Milco. Thanks. His hoops knowledge was really great. I remember the breakdown of Milco.
The funny ("funny") thing was before the breakdown he was basically the perfect model of gentleman.
Then he started threatening to murder Airman by shooting. Very funny, tbh.
The only downside was it embarrassed him to the point where he left entirely instead of leaning into it or laughing at it.
The modern board equivalent would be someone like Phuture threatening Leoss with a drive-by uzi shooting.

I remember one guy from early early days like 04-06. Name was something like nbaencyclopediaguy who was super down to earth and calm in all posts and pretty unbias but also turned out he was an alt of a major troll account and forgot to change usernames one time and then disappeared after being caught.
Doubt anyone else remembers him but it be like if it was discovered phuture and griffmoney were the same person

I don’t think so. Pretty sure he posted here for a while. The one I’m thinking didn’t make it to AG. Was weeded out before the final transition.

I remember the incident but not the name of the user. It was on AngerSports back in the day… literally the first day we started posting there lol. I went in on him a little hard because it was nice not to have rules like at ESPN, he got SUPER offended and bounced. That was my bad…Titan18 wrote: ↑Tue Jul 30, 2024 5:00 pmI don’t think so. From what I remember you made a simple insult to his team and he got pissy about it and then you dug in after smelling blood lol. It’s all good though, he never would have survived here.ElJorge wrote: ↑Tue Jul 30, 2024 5:23 pmI remember the incident but not the name of the user. I could be misremembering the team he was a fan of. For some reason the Jazz sound familiar.lettherebehouse wrote: ↑Tue Jul 30, 2024 5:56 pmShit. Only other Jazz fan I can think of was Rikemaru and that huge Deron Williams slurper.

Some of these names were close to exiting my brain. I definitely wouldn’t have remembered the three jazz posters.
