21-8-9 for LeGOAT on 69% shooting

Post by ElJorge »

Waxed Jokic’s pussy. Let’s see that Serbian prick pretend he doesn’t care with his nonchalant bullshit.

Lebron has won 2 out of the last 9 games vs jokic...needed a team of all Stars to do it this time

Serbia was -26 with jokic sitting.

Lebron doesn't have that effect

Does leoss realize that we all find him cringey as fuck and his always trying way too hard to fit in has pushed other posters away more than anything?
Plus he knows nothing about Basketball, women, food, music, style, life

Eh, it's a LOT easier to execute Offensively when a) you're playing against weak/soft Defense AND b) when you yourself haven't had to waste a shred of energy playing Defense for the past 10 years.

Not impressed.

What kind of numbers was Jordan putting up at 39 - almost 40?

LeGOAT (39 years old)
25.7ppg 7.3rpg 8.3apg 1.3spg on .540/.410/.750 shooting

JorDONE (39 years old)
20ppg 6.1rpg 3.8apg 1.5spg on .445/.291/.821 shooting

Keep in mind Lebron was on season 21 and Mikey was on season 13.5

Seems pretty close :pjaxlol:

You haven't watched basketball, according to you, in over 5 years. Yet you post about LeBron daily. It's sad at this point. I hope you can find a chick at some point because your loneliness and projection is sad.

:mjhuh:
20/6/4/45% AND going all-out on the Defensive end (unlike LeFraud for the last 10+ years) while playing in a much slower Paced, much more physically and Defensive-oriented NBA.

Imagine the numbers 39-40 year old Jordan would have put up if he himself didn't put forth a lick of effort of the Defensive end for 10+ years (like LeFraud) AND he played in the weakest/softest Defensive Era since the 1950's (ie; today's NBA).

How many of his field goals are within like 6 feet of the basket?

Last season Paul George put up 22.6ppg 5.2rpg 3.5apg 1.5spg on .471/.413/.907 shooting as the second option. So 39 year old MJ (who was the 2nd option behind Stackhouse that season) is about the same as 34 year old Paul George, which is still pretty good. Except PG obviously shot way better. Neither player is close to 39 year old Lebron though.

MJ in his last season had an efg% of 45%. That is brutal by today's standards as the 3 has become a bigger part of the game. It was even bad by 2002-2003 standards, when the league average was 47.5%. LeBron had an efg% of 59.9% this year, in comparison. That was propelled by his best ever 3 point shooting season.

MJ shot .291 from 3 his final season… .189 the year before that. His shooting was pretty bad his final few seasons. It’s not even fair comparing Lebron and MJ at 39 TBH… MJ played over 41K minutes after his final season, Lebron is over 56K minutes and counting (that’s not even including the POs which makes it even more lopsided for Lebron). MJ had less wear and tear on his body and still aged much worse. It’d be like comparing you and Stars in terms of health and longevity.

11,858 career playoff minutes so far. For shits and giggles, that is equivalent of 4 more full seasons of 82 games, playing 36 minutes a game.

Again, Defense... both the fact that LeFraud has been a virtual statue on that end of the floor for at least a decade (which has allowed him to save a ton of wear-tear on his body), and the fact that Defense in the Modern Era is weaker/softer than it's been since the 1950's (and certainly MUCH weaker/softer than the NBA for most of the 00's).

These two intangibles have been an enormous benefit to LeFraud's ability to continue padding his Offensive stats at the age of 40... and let's also not forget that LeFraud is playing in an Era where there is virtually zero rim/paint protection (certainly nowhere even close to what the league was like when MJ was 39-40 years old), which is another huge advantage given the fact that James attempted more than half his shots (this past season) from within 10 feet of the basket.

In short, it's never been easier for a player like LeFraud to Shoot/Score than it is today; on the contrary, it was never harder for a perimeter/slasher (like Jordan) to score in the 90's - early 00's.

Want more proof of that fact? Take a look at LeFraud's shooting % during the 00's (48%/33%/74%) vs. this decade (52%/36%/75%).

Case closed. Jordan would completely eviscerate this Modern Era... at age 21 or 40.

MJ played 13.5 seasons by age 39. Even after taking several years off he still was just an average player during his final comeback. I don’t care at all about your hypotheticals or make-believe scenarios… you wanna pretend MJ would’ve shot 60/50/100 in today’s era? Go for it. All I know for a literal documented statistical fact is that Lebron completely outshines him across the board, while having played 15,000 more minutes. Lebron is just made of sterner stuff. We’re comparing a guy who just finished 21 seasons to a guy who barely played 13.5 seasons. It’s crazy that the guy entering season 22 has the better numbers.
