Should blacks be allowed to vote?

Talk about anything here.

Sounds like a weak (liberal) mindset to be honest. You should look forward to the challenge of changing ones mind instead of stopping one from doing something, just my 7 cents.

Why should someone who doesn't have a vested interest in the future of the country (childless) or who is driven by emotions and therefore heavily prone to manipulation (women) be entitled to vote? Will that really lead to a more just society?

Didn't women receive the vote like 90 years ago? It's not like that's what the founding fathers intended.

We could talk about many things the founding fathers didn’t “intend”, such as a political judicial branch, certain elements of the 2nd amendment in place today, etc., but at the end of the day society decides.
In any event, the founding fathers were sure to include the ability to amend the constitution. And, the will of the people granted the right for women to vote.

You're very naïve. Look into the paradox of tolerance if you think the almighty "will of the people" is all that should matter.

It isn’t ALL that matters, but it is a big part. This nation has been hijacked by radicals, and our complacency has let it happen.

The inevitable end result of allowing women to vote is societal collapse. Once that happens we can start over on the right track.

Not complacency, tolerance. Slow drip, frog in boiling water, etc. Your people did this by becoming tolerant and giving the weirdos an inch, then a foot, then a little more. Both sides respond in kind and the pendulum swings back more and more violently. Your people.

Slaves were property. Would you let your cow vote? Your chair? Your book collection?

Now if you let everyone vote including enemies of this country like natives, it can lead to bad results.

"It is certain in theory, that the only moral foundation of government is the [agreement] of the people, but to what an extent shall we carry this principle? Shall we say, that every individual of the community, old and young, male and female, as well as rich and poor, must [agree] to every act of legislation?...

Is it not equally true, that men in general in every society, who [are poor and do not own property], are also [unfamiliar] with public affairs to form a right judgment, and too dependent upon other men to have a will of their own? …Few men, who have no property, have any judgment of their own. They talk and vote as they are directed by some man of property, who has attached their minds to his interest.

Depend upon it, sir, it is dangerous to open [such a] source of controversy and altercation, as would be opened by attempting to [change] the qualifications of voters. There will be no end of it. New claims will arise. Women will demand a vote. Negros will want to vote. Lads from 12 to 21 will think their rights not enough attended to, and every man, who has not a [dime], will demand an equal voice with any other in all acts of state. It tends to confound and destroy all distinctions, and [surrender] all ranks, to one common level."

“My people” haven’t given anything. FREE Americans have choices…If anything , your people, i.e. Trump has lead the moral decay of this country…
I don’t subscribe to faggotry, I dont subscribe to adultry, i don’t subscribe to abortion…I could go onkiddo, but in any event, your hero Trump is all in on the immorality.

Really no one should be allowed to vote. A return to monarchy is the best solution. The Mandate of Heaven will decide who rules.

In that system, how is the first monarch decided?

Historically, it's probably whoever was the leader of the group that took over the area.

I'm curious how we'd do that now.

Yeah, that's how it would start. Probably a lot of violence until things get settled, but that seems to be the path we're on regardless.
