First barbecue of the year is this Saturday

Post by AtiliusRegulus »

No one is invited but I will drop some goodies off to various family members. On deck
1. Steak
2. Lamb
3. Italian sausage
4. Ribs
5. Chicken
6. Corn
7. Beef patties

I have the coal and the gas. I will use either Thursday or Friday to buy the meats.

With that splurge and not having to lift a finger to cook for 3 days, the wife is definitely opening up her legs later that night.

Lamb isn't overrated. It's got a great unique taste, in my subjective opinion. But I never BBQ it.

Bad ass dude.

Your wife needs to put out if you put three "doesn't have to cook" daily tokens into her.

Only lamb chops go hard as hell. Sometimes leg of lamb but I prefer the outer cuts of it.

LOL. I have had Lamb twice, did not care for it either time. Give me some BBQ leg quarters any day of the week.

In my semi-limited experience, lamb is great done right, but is easier than most to get wrong.

When I lived in NJ I sometimes went to a Allah Allah place that did a great job with them.

Surprisingly, there are no Allah Allah places in rural Indiana.

Never had lamb chops. But I do remember my dad would make them for himself regularly if my mom was making some casserole dish or some shit like that for dinner.

Lamb can be delicious. I think the key is North American lamb vs grass fed Aussie/New Zealand lamb.
I can still remember a vacation grilled lamb that was marinated in yogurt and herbs that was pretty great.

Always cook the lamb last that way your chances of spoiling it is very low. I cook the hamburger meats first to get into the barbecue rhythm
