Nah, i had a friend who had a place in the woods. Everytime you stepped out you were swarmed by bugs...I prefer a nice clean yard with just a few trees...Looks better too

I do have bugs outdoors, especially at night, but it’s definitely worth it for the scenery and feeling like you’re in a forest. It’s tranquil. It depends what the woods look like. I’m surrounded by towering pine trees, at the top of a hill. Never leaving.

We go to the river a lot and hang out for the day… grill some hamburgers and all that. But we haven’t camped yet and TBH it’s not really my thing, but the wife and kids keep pushing for it.

Disconnecting from the technology is nice from time to time. Exploring new parts of the country, grill delicious food every meal with a few buddies, drinking, campgames, go kayaking on lakes, are throwing, shooting, dirt biking, small hikes. WA has very few bugs and low humidity so being outside ain't bad.

Of course lol. Bled out bonitos right on the deck of my buddy’s fishing boat off Catalina Island and rawdogged it sashimi style with a mango wasabi dip made from the homie’s wife (so damn good when that fresh). The beauty of it, I went back onto land that same night, took a shower, then laid on a comfortable bed in an air conditioned room with chilled af bedsheets & pillowcases as I doze off while watching Michael Douglas get his ass trolled in “The Game” all with some nice sloppy waiting for me as my morning wake up call before breakfast.

My aunt has a campsite out in the boonies in a community where you own the plots. It’s a year round thing but she has a trailer stationed there with electric, ac, stove, frig etc... We’d essentially do fake camping with the fishing, grilling, fire, and lots of booze before passing out inside the air conditioned trailer with beds and sheets for the night. Had lots of good times there but haven’t been in about 5 years.

Was also a seedy strip club about 15 minutes away that I have many fond memories of but those stories are for another day.

its 72 degrees 24 hours a day year round in hawaii, its not the same thing. Ive been there many times, and outside is aways comfortable.
