2 of the best dunkers of their generation, and this is the best they could come up with?

And the crowd responding to every mediocre dunk like it was the first time they had seen a spaceship or something lol

Not good!

Lots of fans of today's soft/weak Modern Era getting their panties in a wad ITT.

Jordan's FT dunk = better, more legendary, and more iconic than any dunk today's unoriginal players can come up with.
Spoiler:
Get mad.

That dunk isn't even as impressive or as iconic as Vince's Olympic dunk, from the end of MJ's own generation.

Lavine can eastbay from the free throw line, but somehow Jordan barely getting the ball over the rim from there is more impressive? What are we doing here?

Underrated in game dunker shoutouts to Gerald green and Shannon brown, those guys were bouncy as hell

Jaxson Hayes at 7 feet is more athletic than any ‘90s player and he’s a scrub.

Today's Modern Era / LeFraud fan is sooooooooo easily triggered now that the league itself (ie; the Commissioner, the VP of Ops), as well as numerous "current" players and "current" Coaches exposed today's Defenses as weak and soft, while the rules in place heavily favor Offensive stat-padding.

They can't handle the fact that their Era is inferior... so they hate on the GOAT and the GOAT Era of the NBA (ie; mid 80's - early 00's).

How do you think prime Karl Malone would fare in today's NBA?

He’d be a wrecking ball IMO. Dude has freakish strength and was athletic. Very solid midrange jumper, a monster in the post, solid rebounder, good passer… not the best on defense but still strong enough to hold his position.

Not a knock on Karl but my first thought was a more athletic, bigger, and stronger version of Carlos Boozer.

Yea I guess that’s a fair comparison. In his prime he was putting up 28ppg 10rpg 4apg type numbers on 55% shooting. KingCarl would prob know way more about him than I ever could TBH.

I think he’s the exact type of player that would be neutered in today’s game. Wasn’t really an above the rim threat and not a spacer, his best skill was pick and pop from like 16-18, not really a rim protector and definitely couldn’t keep up on switches. When thinking about portability of skill sets, his really wouldn’t age well into today game
