He literally (cleanly) lost a fight in MMA that had nothing but striking (against Derrick Lewis), and then nearly beat the (then) current HW king in a specialized sport a little bit later. The boxing KING barely beat him, but the MMA guy beat him cleanly.
The simple fact that someone who isn't even clearly the best MMA striker could waltz over and smack the King in the mouth with barely a response invalidates boxing as a serious sport. If you are a specialized sport, you should BRUTALIZE novices literally 100 percent of time, minus acts of God and injury, etc...
Try that with wrestling. Or any specialized sport. Imagine Steph Curry suddenly becoming the best archer in the world, or Canelo becoming the best at folkstyle and winning a medal at the 2028 games after winning a boxing match.
