He's the biggest draft steal the NBA has seen in years. The average mock draft had him going #8. ESPN had him 6, The Ringer 10, The Athletic 6, Yahoo 9, Bleacher Report 10, NetScouts 9, CBS 6.

Lakers get him at 17, monster heist. Magic were praying he'd still be there at 18 lol

"Knecht is the most prolific scorer in this draft not named Zach Edey, averaging a robust 28 points per 40 minutes despite entire defenses planning for slowing him down on a nightly basis. He's a prolific shooter who converted 40% of his 3s, but he also does quite a bit of damage in the open court, attacking closeouts, in pick-and-roll, in the post and coming off screens, making him a complete offensive player.

New Lakers coach JJ Redick is a huge fan of this pick, a team source told ESPN, as he has been preaching the importance of adding shooting to the roster, not a surprise considering Redick made over 2,000 NBA 3s in his career at a 41% clip.

"None of us thought he'd be there. It's crazy. The most ready guy in the draft, ready to play right away," the team source said."
"The idea is not to block every shot. The idea is to make your opponent believe you might block every shot."

I haven't heard of a single player in the draft. That doesn't mean I can't read up on the fact that every mock had this guy going way earlier and that he's by all accounts an historic steal. Magic would have had their first ever parade had they managed to draft him.

At least Bronny gets to wear LeBron's championship rings. No one in the Magic organization has ever come that close.

Bronny has already generated more interest than the Orlando Magic have in all of the last 10 years lol

SEC scoring champ & POY falling into their lap. Usually one can happen but not both. Think Mason Jones was the last guy from the SEC with both accolades and the Kings drafted him.

And?
No he hasn't. Nobody is interested in him. He's more of a joke and that's the level of his exposure
You think that's something to brag about?
You place way too much stock in what other people think.

Winning is more important than exposure dumbass

Bronny is balling out hooping with his dad and brother in New York. Basketball isn’t all about talent and skill it’s about hard work. Bronny works harder than any current Orlando magic player and that is a bonafide fact!
