He's a perfect fit for that team. His skill set is obviously different but he reminds me of Draymond Green for the Warriors.

He would be a welcome addition to any team that is serious about being eliteSudanese Sensation wrote: ↑Wed May 15, 2024 1:25 amHe's a perfect fit for that team. His skill set is obviously different but he reminds me of Draymond Green for the Warriors.

He's the third or fourth option and like Draymond he is core to so much of what the Nuggets do.

If he's a shitty second option.....then Jokic is quite literally the greatest ever.elartman1973 wrote: ↑Wed May 15, 2024 4:50 am He's a shitty 2nd option and would be g league without jokic

Think of how stupid the average person is, and realize half of them are dumber than that.

Murray is the second option. KCP is the third option. But Gordon is integral to so much of what they do.Robceltsfan wrote: ↑Wed May 15, 2024 10:05 amIf he's a shitty second option.....then Jokic is quite literally the greatest ever.elartman1973 wrote: ↑Wed May 15, 2024 4:50 am He's a shitty 2nd option and would be g league without jokic

Check out the change in his efficiency since he joined Jokic. It is crazy how much it has improved, and that is despite weaker FT shooting. His TS% has skyrocketed pretty much to the day he joined Jokic.

If the Nuggets were a car he would be the alternator, not the biggest or most important component, but without it the car wouldn't go.

Re: Aaron Gordon Is Beasting (REDUX)
Virtually all good teams are built that way. The 90s bulls are classic examples. Yes they had MJ and Pippen, but they absolutely needed guys like Horace Grant and Denis Rodman to round things out. Guys like Kukoc and BJ Armstrong and Harper were also underrated players who made the puzzle all fit together nicely. In the 90s, when competition was relatively weak (compared to the prior decade in particular) they were a mismatch for virtually everyone. Draymond Green on the Warriors is a much better version but the same idea. People make fun of his weaknesses, but his strengths were integral to their success. They needed Draymond to be great.Sudanese Sensation wrote: ↑Wed May 15, 2024 11:19 am_Vcsgrizzfan_ wrote: ↑Wed May 15, 2024 11:17 am Check out the change in his efficiency since he joined Jokic. In today's NBA, with so many teams stacked with talent (though it doesn't always fit well together), you absolutely need to have really good role players and some depth or you are hooped (pardon the pun).
