Wemby definitely has the "potential" to be the GOAT, there's no doubt; however dozens of guys have potential, but only one (1) has managed to reach it, which is why he's still the GOAT bar none (MJ of course).

Well losing 60 your first year isn't a good start but I don't think he's even old enough to drink yet so we'll see.

Agreed.

Similar to Bill, Kareem has a smaller quiet group of fans who think he's the GOAT.

He definitely has the talent what he needs are the following
Work ethic
Health
Good role players
Good coach
Some lucky breaks

Michael Jordan’s run had all of those.
Work ethic: par excellence
Health: only major injury came the second year and none there after until he got all his rings 1986-1998 no surgeries no major injuries
Role Players : Pippen grant rodman kukoc Kerr
Coach: Phil Jackson
Lucky breaks: block on Charles smith, paxson’s 3 pointer against the suns, kerr’s 2 pointer against the jazz, Malone bricking free throws, Cedric ceballos being injured in the western conference finals of 1993
Check the method from Bedrock, 'cause I rock your head to bed

 well not quite, but Jabbar is definitely #2 all-time though.

Kareem wasn't "always" THE best, most valuable player on all his teams, nor all his 6 Championships (like Mike was), and while he was a great Defender most of his career, Jabbar wasn't on MJ's level in that facet either.

Solid #2... no higher.

Mike was a more impressive/more dominating Winner, and he was a better Defender... and remember, back then teams actually played Defense consistently (unlike today), so the value on that end of the floor was a LOT greater. In other words nowadays if you say so-and-so is a great Defender it doesn't mean much because the defense overall is so soft and weak. Back then though, if you were considered a great defender (nevermind GOAT level Like Mike), it really meant something.

Anyway:

1) Jordan
2) Jabbar

Sorry... there's no other justifiable option.

8-)

I wouldn't call that luck... those plays defined the Bulls' Dynasty, and it's why they were unbeatable in the Finals: Execution under pressure, when it mattered most. The entire team delivered... and it ALL stemmed from Jordan setting the example, practicing what he preached (unlike some fraud that plays today and pretends like he's the GOAT) and holding his teammates to the same GOAT standards that he held himself.

Malone's brick job - lol. The Mailman don't deliver on Sunday. Priceless!

Ceballos? The Suns were a great team and Ceballos was a solid solid role-player (at the time), but he wouldn't have made a difference in the outcome of the series. Those 93 Bulls were on a mission, locked-in to win a 3-Peat and clicking on all cylinders.
