Carnivore truly is the only diet that works
I tried low calorie diets.....totally worthless.
Once you get into the swing of things on the carnivore diet the weight just simply drops off you. I lost 4.5 pounds in 4 days.

All diets work. You just have to find the one that's easiest for you to stick to until you lose the weight. Carnivore works well for me because I feel full from all of the protein. But it does make me have to take some highly violent and urgent shits.

You weren't at a caloric deficit of 15,750 calories over a four day span (almost 4K a day) unless you were doing something completely abnormal in terms of exercise for that period, or you were operating from a start point of like 600 pounds (Artman).
For reference, a 40 year old, 5'10 180 lb man will burn about 10,800 calories over a four day period (2700 x 4) if they don't eat anything at all and live at a moderate activity level.
Edit: For Artman's stats (6'2" 325 lbs, 50 yeas old), you burn about 4,100 calories a day with a heavy activity level.

And Im backed up for the most part. I may have to take some of the sugar-free Metamucil in my pantry.

It's probably mostly water...but big weight loss from the onset when you start this diet is totally normal. Im nowhere NEAR artman starting weight. you are crazy?Bush4Ever. wrote: ↑Thu Apr 25, 2024 9:55 pm You weren't at a caloric deficit of 15,750 calories over a four day span unless you were doing something completely abnormal in terms of exercise for that period, or you were operating from a start point of like 600 pounds (Artman).

It's not probably mostly water, it's definitely mostly water (or some kind of measurement issue) unless you were exporting an absurd amount of calories through exercise, or the calories required to run the machine (i.e.--you weigh like 600 pounds) was ultra, ultra-high and you ate minimally.CleveTown™ wrote: ↑Thu Apr 25, 2024 9:57 pm It's probably mostly water...but big weight loss from the onset when you start this diet is totally normal. Re: Carnivore truly is the only diet that works
It's pretty much water at first. I lost 5 pounds in the first 2 days the last time I did it. Then I would go a couple days and not lose anything, then you'd be down another 2 pounds etc.CleveTown™ wrote: ↑Thu Apr 25, 2024 9:57 pmIt's probably mostly water...but big weight loss from the onset when you start this diet is totally normal. Dan burns most of his calories running all the errands the breadwinner of her home tells him to do.

I weigh nowhere near that and I burn more calories a day than anyone here guaranteedBush4Ever. wrote: ↑Thu Apr 25, 2024 9:55 pm You weren't at a caloric deficit of 15,750 calories over a four day span (almost 4K a day) unless you were doing something completely abnormal in terms of exercise for that period, or you were operating from a start point of like 600 pounds (Artman).

Bet. I’ll buy you a smart watch that will track your calories burnt, I’ll wear the same one, and you and I can share our data just with each other. I promise not to put any actual numbers on this site, but I will say who burns more. Sound good? Nothing to lose on your end, you get a free a watch, just have to be willing to back up your talkelartman1973 wrote: ↑Thu Apr 25, 2024 10:26 pmI weigh nowhere near that and I burn more calories a day than anyone here guaranteedBush4Ever. wrote: ↑Thu Apr 25, 2024 9:55 pm You weren't at a caloric deficit of 15,750 calories over a four day span (almost 4K a day) unless you were doing something completely abnormal in terms of exercise for that period, or you were operating from a start point of like 600 pounds (Artman).

I can believe Artman burns a lot of calories as a 400 pound manual laborer.
But it's pointless since he eats around 5,000 calories a day, which offsets it by a few multiples.

I’m at quite a disadvantage, I only weigh like 180 and I’ve been stuck in the office lately. Seems like a good bet for himBush4Ever. wrote: ↑Thu Apr 25, 2024 11:01 pm I can believe Artman burns a lot of calories as a 400 pound manual laborer.

I concur. Under 200 pounds for the first time for months, in decades. I want a big roast beef dinner with huge portions of potatoes and gravy. Extra gravy. If i start does that path, I will gain it all back.manchild98 wrote: ↑Thu Apr 25, 2024 9:43 pm All diets work.
