I think both LA teams and Toronto are the current favorites.

Story today says the decision is coming before the end of the weekend.

When that domino falls, things should heat up in a hurry.

Hoskins is a bigger catch than Ohtani anyway.

I will say the excitement of Ohtani signing has fallen a lot because of his injury. Don't get me wrong, he will still be a huge add to whoever lands him and will get a record deal but if he finished the season healthy and was definitely pitching next year it would have been astronomical. Now whoever gets him will have a 600 million dollar DH who may also pitch again in a few years in an unknown role.

Per MLB.com, San Diego is delaying the Soto deal because of their review of medicals and other information.

I thought my prediction of 10/600 was a lot.

That's nuts.

In retrospect, yes. He can go fuck himself, I hope he's hurt the entire time.

Well at least he'll finally get to experience the joy of winning a NLDS game or two. Playoffs, baby!

Kind of a scummy move to hop to the cross-town rival IMHO.

It's a dumb contract and the Dodgers have no rotation, will you be applauding when they get swept by Merrill Kelly again?

Is it fully guaranteed? Also the offseason is not done yet.
