This is like getting into a pissing contest. Very little difference between the Magic's defensive rating and the points given up. Piss away guys.

Posting only one of the several categories that make up overall defensive rating instead of actual defensive rating has got to be the most desperate deflection you've ever attempted
Or you're just dumb

Several categories? You don't even know how DRTG is calculated do you? It has no categories, it's a one metric calculation.elartman1973 wrote: ↑Sun Nov 19, 2023 7:35 pmOverall Defensive rating #1 Orlando MagicLeBronMonsterDunk wrote: ↑Sun Nov 19, 2023 7:25 pmYou actually thought the Magicos were the "#1 defense" didn't you?

Points per possession obtained/allowed is the best overall metric of offense/defense at the team-level.
I don't think anyone denies the Magic are an excellent defensive team. They clearly are, and are well-coached in that aspect.
The issue is that they simply don't have the horses offensively, which places a hard cap on their ceiling circa 2024.

Keep in mind they have been playing without their floor general for the past 8 games. He executes and organizes the offense to it's best potential. We have been starting our rookie pg in his absence.
We have multiple players that can drop 20+ a night. And we are still super young and players are getting better every game.
