Let me make this idiot-proof for you: Traditionally, Israel garners support from everyone on the right except the rightmost 10%, and as a bonus, it also has the support of the 10% of the left that is closest to the center. Now, Israel has the full support of everyone but the rightmost 5% of the country and the leftmost 5% of the country. This has led to a massive online echo chamber in which everyone is encouraging Israel to permanently wipe out Hamas and hit the reset button on all of Gaza and its 2.5 million residents. Even that 5% of the right is only encouraging a non-interventionist approach - pro-Israel, just not pro-American engagement.
