Final Fantasy has been the series that I've spent the most time with, by far. I've played and beaten 1 through 13, minus 11 (MMO).

B-Tier = 12, 3
C-Tier = 7, 8, 13, 4, 10-2
D-Tier = 1, 4 After Years
F-Tier = 2

I never played any of the FF games. Games looked too convoluted for my peasant teenage brain.

I didn't, the game is great though even though Capcom changed a ton of stuff from the original it still somehow feels like the old game while being an original experience, it's quite amazing how they were able to do that. If you like RE it's a MUST play, I have 350+ hours logged and still don't have the platinum trophy yet.

There's a big nostalgia factor driving my love for SMRPG but it truly was a magical, charming game for its time. My favorite ever RPG. And they are remaking it which is a dream come true,



It was very underappreciated for its time because it came out at the end of the life of the SNES, people were already ready for and moving on to N64. But it maxxed out the capabilities of the SNES and had a lot of 3D.
