Hand-checking was elimiated in 1994. Defenders using forearm to guard players facing the basket eliminated in 1997. Hand and forearm defense above the FT line extended and defenses re-routing players off the ball were eliminated in 1999. Defensive 3-seconds implemented in 2001.
